7th International Halal Conference 2026

Navigating a VUCA World with Integrity

Ethics, Governance & Human Capital as Stabilising Forces
Conference Overview

The world is navigating an era defined by Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, and Ambiguity (VUCA). Economic shocks, geopolitical fragmentation, technological disruption, climate pressures, and social polarisation are testing not only systems and markets, but also trust, leadership, and moral clarity.

Within this environment, the global Halal ecosystem faces challenges that extend far beyond certification and compliance. The question is no longer whether Halal systems function, but how they sustain confidence, legitimacy, and resilience when conventional systems falter.

The 7th International Halal Conference (IHC7) positions Halal as a values-anchored framework for stability—grounded in ethics, governance, and human capital—capable of supporting economies, institutions, and communities through uncertainty.

Held during the blessed month of Ramadan, IHC7 is intentionally designed as a sense-making and alignment platform, allowing reflection, clarity, and shared understanding to take precedence over technical overload. Deeper research, policy design, and implementation pathways will continue through the Islamic Economy Academy and post-Ramadan physical forums.
